External FBE Coating Equipment

Fusion bonded epoxy (FBE) coatings are used to protect pipeline surfaces from corrosion, and double or even triple layers of FBE can improve abrasion resistance and UV resistance. In addition, FBE coatings are coated with adhesives and PE/PP coatings to form 3PE/PP coatings. The production line equipment can be adapted to the production of steel pipes up to 5000 mm. Electrostatic epoxy powder is usually sprayed onto the pipe at a temperature of around 180 - 230°C. The powder is applied to the pipe by heating it. The epoxy powder melts and forms a uniform epoxy coating on the pipe when heated on the surface of the pipe.

External 3PE/3PP Coating Equipment

3PE coatings are in addition to the corrosion protection of FBE coatings and can be used to add mechanical protection by applying a polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP) layer. The adhesive layer is responsible for the bonding between the FBE and PE / PP layers. The line equipment can be adapted to the production of steel pipes up to 3048 mm. PE / PP pellets are extruded onto the through pipe to form a solid coating. Lateral extrusion is the usual method, in which a layer of PE / PP is wound onto the pipe. For smaller pipe diameters, a so-called wrapping process is often used.

Internal FBE Coating Equipment

Internal FBE coatings are used to coat the inner wall of pipes for the transportation of water and chemical liquids, protecting the inner surface of steel pipes from corrosion and providing excellent resistance to cathodic stripping. Production line equipment can accommodate up to 5,000 mm of steel pipe production The internal Fusion Bonded Epoxy (FBE) system is applied by means of an epoxy powder coating system mounted on a spray gun. The spray gun moves through the rotating pipe while spraying the epoxy powder onto the inner surface of the heated pipe to melt the epoxy powder onto the pipe.

Interior Paint Coating Equipment

Internal liquid coatings can be applied to the external surfaces of the pipe by means of a spray system, which can prevent corrosion or optimize flow efficiency. This equipment can be used to spray a variety of coating types such as liquid epoxy, polyurethane (PU) or two-component coatings. To spray, after placing the pipe into the internal liquid coating station, seal the end of the pipe and use the gun system's gun movement through the pipe. Internal liquid coatings can be optionally preheated.

Steel Pipe CWC Equipment

PU Foam Insulation Equipment

In order to keep the substance in the pipe at the correct temperature, polyurethane foam (PUF) insulation coatings are commonly used for thermal oil transfer lines as well as for district heating and cooling. After spraying a PU foam layer on the surface of the pipe, the pipe is given additional mechanical protection by wrapping a PE layer around the outer surface.The PU foam layer can be added to the heating conductor or to the detection conductor.
